Eumundi Markets Wednesday Market day. We will browse the local markets, what you see here on one of the 500 stalls has been made, baked, designed, sewn or grown locally. When you need a break from shopping, there’s plenty of local talent to keep you entertained. Listen to the diverse music of the electronic didgeridoo and bongo drums or traditional bush poetry and street theatre. After or during the market explore the historic town of Eumundi. This day will bring delight to all your senses with the sounds, smells and many places to purchase your lunch. We round off our day venturing into Noosa and Noosaville.
Montville and Glasshouse Mountains On the scenic drive to Montville you will see the vast and changing terrain of area and enjoy spectacular views of the Glasshouse Mountains. Once in Montville, browse the shops, enjoy the quaintness of the village and be serenaded by the laughter of the Kookaburras perched high in the gum trees. The shops tempt you and food to fill you full. Relaxing and enjoyable!
Ginger Factory & Macadamia Nut Factory We take a scenic drive to Yandina for The Taste of Ginger Tour – Board the Historic Cane Train and journey through the story of ginger, from farming and processing to the use of ginger in cooking and health. Treat you taste buds to find out why ginger is the world’s favourite spice. Explore Ginger town, a heritage style village of fascinating shops. Sit in this unique place and purchase your lunch. And is if that is not enough pop across the road to the Nut Works to sample the different flavours of Macadamia Nuts and view the macadamia nut processing, chocolate coating and confectionery area.
Free Day We take the Harbour River Canal Cruise on the only genuine classic timber ferry in operation on the Sunshine Coast today to inspect the interesting sights of Mooloolaba’s Harbour. A great cruise! The afternoon is free for last minute shopping or relaxing.
Travel Home All good things to and end, and reluctantly we leave this beautiful area for our flight back to New Zealand.
