BD Explore the island on a discovery tour. This tour will set the scene for the rest of your holiday and introduce you to the splendours of the island. A perfect beginning to your stay as you will marvel at the beauty and way of life that is enjoyed here.
B After a leisurely breakfast, today we do our own ‘tiki’ tours, sight seeing and exploring. We will search for the waterfall and enjoy the beauty of the island.
B D We visit the renowned Pearl Shop to linger over the fabulous variety of pearls. Have you ever seen golden pearls? We also visit a shop/factory where they make a variety of goods e.g. soaps, perfumes and shampoos, all made from natural coconut oil. The coconut tree is the main cash crop of the island and everything has its uses. Nothing is left to waste. The rest of the day is free to rest or make your own tour of discovery.
BL Today we take an amazing scenic glass bottom boat cruise which includes a yummy BBQ lunch on a little uninhabited island. You will need your camera with you for the sheer unspoiled beauty you will experience and for the colourful fish and stunning coral life in the crystal clear waters. It will take your breath away and you will never forget it.
BD This morning we visit the markets to soak up the friendly atmosphere. Apart from shopping you may see some spontaneous cultural dancing. As the market closes at mid-day, you have the afternoon to relax by the pool or stroll along the golden sand. Tonight we mix the dining experience with pulsating drums and cultural dance troupes. You are guaranteed a night of special magic. This special buffet-style dinner and the accompanying dance shows are a must for any visitor.
B Today is a free day but I do thoroughly recommend you visit a local church to experience the wonderful Polynesian singing. After that, perhaps, visit another Island, watch Piris coconut tree climbing, acrobatics and flame throwing, just relax on the white sands of the beach or laze by the hotel swimming pool. The choice is yours. I suggest we eat at Trader Jacks tonight – it has a well known reputation for good food, good atmosphere and good prices and I thoroughly recommend Iki Mata which is a very popular traditional Rarotongan dish.
B We have a few hours before our flight home to take a last stroll along the beach or relax in our hotel restaurant which is surrounded by coconut palms overlooking the beautiful beach and incredible clear still waters of the lagoon.
