View the intriguing Moeraki Boulders on our way to the ‘Edinburgh of the South’ where we wander Glenfalloch Gardens. At the Catlins we visit the beautiful Purakanui Falls and the Nugget Point and Waipapa Lighthouses. Discover the McLean Falls, one of the world’s best petrified forests and Slope Point – the southern most part of the South Island. Have the opportunity to see lots of unique wild life on this trip (time and nature permitting); seals, sea lions, albatross, yellow-eyed penguins.

Experience the scenic Southern region as we travel via Timaru and overnight at Dunedin. We then travel on to Bluff to cross the Foveaux Straight, where we sail to New Zealand’s third Island. Enjoy the peace and tranquility, spectacular sunrises and sunsets of this virtually undiscovered paradise. From Steward Island, it’s back to the main land to continue our journey to Cromwell, where we take in the popular views of Lake Wanaka and visit Puzzling World. The journey back to Christchurch is via the awe-inspiring Mackenzie country with lunch at Lake Tekapo and a brief stop at Lake Pukaki.

White Herons at Okarito
This is a wonderful three day break travelling over Arthur’s Pass stopping for morning tea, onto Hokitika for lunch and a browse. We do the White Herons at Okarito Tour, plus taking in the Franz Joseph Glacier. We return via Moana on the beautiful Lake Brunner, then on through the Otira Gorge and stunning Arthur’s Pass. I recommend you book early for this as it will fill quickly.

West Coast Wonders
Travel through the spectacular scenery of our Southern Alps, taking lunch at Arthur’s Pass, continuing on to the west coast town of Greymouth for our accommodation. Visit the interesting and amazing local features of Shantytown, Punakaiki Rocks, a glow worm dell and Franz Joseph Glacier. Be at one with nature when we cruise the beautiful, tranquil Mahinepua Waterways in a purpose built craft.

Drink in the scents and sights of this wonderful area at late spring. We base ourselves near Old Cromwell Village, take in picturesque Lake Wanaka and its surroundings as it bursts back into life after winter. We view Lake Hawea and have fun at Puzzling World. Admire the engineering feat of the Clyde Dam as we travel on down to the crowd pleasing Blossom Festival in Alexandra. Cruise Lake Wakatipu on our old favourite SS Earnslaw at Queenstown.
As this trip is enormously popular, early bookings are recommended.
