You are picked up from your home (Christchurch City area only) between 8.00am & 9.00am. We travel north stopping at Culverden for a cuppa. We continue through the beautiful Lewis Pass, stopping at Springs Junction for lunch along the way. We carry on through Murchison, Glenhope and Tapawera arriving at Motueka about 6pm.
We visit the renowned Kaiteriteri beach where we stop for a wander. We have our morning cuppa and browse an amazing art/craft gallery and shop complex at Marahau, at the start of the Able Tasman National Park. The afternoon is left free to investigate the shops in Motueka.
We take a Tiki Tour around Motueka, view the saltwater swimming pools, have a leisurely morning cuppa at beautiful Rabbit Island, then stop off to peruse picturesque Mapua.
We travel over Marble Mountain to the beautiful region of Golden Bay. We visit Waikoropupu Springs, have a cuppa at Collingwood and travel on to view the unbelievable Langford’s Store at Bainham. We finish our day taking in the stunning views from the start of Farewell Spit. Our journey home takes us back through the town of township of Takaka.
Today we visit the wonderful World of Wearable Arts exhibition and the Vintage Car Museum. We travel on into sunny Nelson where we have a look in the Cathedral and then have free time to browse around this beautiful city.
Our journey home takes us through the stunning Rai Valley, stopping for a cup of tea at Pelourus Bridge. We travel through Blenheim and along the stunning, rugged Kaikoura coastline, where we stop for lunch. We aim to arrive in Christchurch around 5.30 to 6.00pm.
