D You are picked up between 8 and 9 am (Christchurch city area only). We travel through to Ashburton, with a 20 minute stop here, on through picturesque Geraldine to have lunch at stunning Lake Tekapo, travel through the majestic Lindis Pass. We have a 10 minute stop at Omarama, then on to our inviting accommodation at Cromwell.
BD After a leisurely breakfast, we will travel via the stunning Lake Hawea, then onto beautiful Wanaka, enjoy a cup of tea on the edge of the Lake and simply soak up the beauty of this location at this magical time of the year, in all its glorious Autumn colours. You then have some free time to browse the shops and have lunch, before we visit Puzzling World for fun time.
BD A beautiful leisurely scenic day. We’ll visit historic Old Cromwell and take a Tiki Tour to view the amazing engineering feat of the Clyde Dam and the charming olde worlde Clyde Township. Another fabulous day for stunning scenery and photo opportunities.
BD Today we enjoy the blooms of the Alexandra Blossom Festival. You have free time here to browse the stalls offering local arts and crafts, taste the local cuisine and watch the wonderful parade. We will take a Tiki Tour up to the highest point in Alexandra giving an amazing vista of the whole area.
BD Queenstown / Arrowtown – We have our morning cuppa in picturesque Arrowtown and visit the amazing beautifully restored Chinese settlement. You have time to soak up beautiful Queenstown, meander alongside Lake Wakatipu or browse the shops before heading back to Cromwell along side the beautiful scenic Kawarau Gorge.
B On our way home to Christchurch, we take in the majestic views of Lake Pukaki. We lunch at beautiful Lake Tekapo, visit Church of the Good Shepard and view Mackenzie’s dog memorial. We will have a 15 minute stop at Geraldine, before wending our way home.
